Join the McTeggart Irish Dancers of South Texas and competitors from across North America for our spectacular back-to-back feis weekend in Houston! It’s a full weekend celebrating the heart of Irish culture, featuring not only world-class dancing but also competitions in Art, Music, and Baking.

Arts, Music, and Baking Competitions
Showcase your Irish cultural talents beyond the dance stage! Specific syllabi details are available on Feisworx, but generally, these categories are open to all and are a wonderful opportunity to participate:
- 🎨 Art: Submit your creative work with an Irish cultural theme (e.g., Celtic knots, legends). Be sure to label it clearly with your name, age, and phone number.
- 🎶 Music: Non-dancers are welcome to enter. Perform a vocal or instrumental Irish tune of your choice within a time limit (typically 2.5 minutes).
- 🍞 Baking: Enter your best baked good! This competition is often divided into categories like white or brown bread, fancy bread, or decorated cakes, at the discretion of the judges. Note: For the Houston Harvest Feis, entries must typically be delivered wrapped in plastic to the registration table by the morning of the feis (e.g., 9:30 a.m. for the Houston Harvest Feis).

Don’t Forget! Syllabi detailing all dance, cultural, and special competitions—including the exact rules and timing for Art, Music, and Baking—will be posted on Feisworx. Dancer numbers and cards will be available for pickup at the registration area for each feis.
